Speaking to Cricbuzz after the game, Sehwag said this was the first time that PBKS won a match due to Punjabis. Prabhsimran scored his maiden IPL century, hitting 103 runs off 65 balls, smashing 10 boundaries and six sixes.

He went on to shower praise on Brar, going as far as saying that the ball that dismissed Manish Pandey was as good as Shane Warne's ball of the century. Brar dismissed David Warner, Phil Salt, Rilee Rossouw and Manish Pandey to break DC's back in New Delhi.
"Brar was incredible. To bowl an over in the Powerplay and being hit for runs, the way he made a comeback in wonderful fashion. The ball that got Manish Pandey was like Shane Warne's ball of the century. The ball that sent Warner packing was also good, Riley Rossouw played a bad shot. But overall, it was very intelligent bowling from Brar," Sehwag added.

Sehwag said it was a poor batting display from DC's end, adding that the match slipped away from their grasp when they lost wickets in a cluster. PBKS spinner Brar and Rahul Chahar picked up 6 wickets in the middle over to turn the tide of the game.
"When those four wickets fell, the match slipped away from DC's hand. It was a poor batting display from DC. If the DC batters had shown patience, because the runs were there, the result could've been different," said Sehwag.
Following their win at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, PBKS will get ready to face DC once again in their next encounter, this time at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala on May 17.
